AJK Offroad has designed a swinging bed extender/tailgate for the Honda Talon. Our swinging bed extender/tailgate clamps around the stock rollcage and swings to the passenger side. This Tailgate is made from 1.50″ diameter DOM tubing with a wall thickness of .095″. Each swinging tailgate is powder coated black. This uses our tube hinge as the hinge point and uses a rubber T handle to hold it closed.
Comes with all the necessary hardware to install.

I purchased this tailgate after adding the AJK large Milwaukee Packout plate and a “full load” of Packouts. Our Talon has a spare tire mount attached to the cage that leaves about 1/2″ clearance above the packouts so the only tailgate that will work is a swinging one, no room to load the cargo area from the top. This fit the bill perfectly, we can get the packouts in/out easily and it looks like it should have come with it from the factory!
