We have designed this Door Latch to lock in place by making the two components snap together. Simply use our Tube Hinge as the hinge and weld our Door Latch at the other end of the tube. These are designed to lock in place with the two parts having .003 interference fit. This will allow the latch to snap closed and stay closed but also easy enough to open. We also supply a 3/8 ball lock pin to keep it shut.
We offer two different options 1.50″‘ and also 1.75″ diameter tubing both with a .095″ or .120″ wall tubing.

The precision on this piece is incredible. There is something so satisfying about two precisely machined parts coming together in a clasping motion. I got this piece to close the back end of my bed racks tube, allowing me to fit larger objects into the truck and then securing them again. Worked perfectly for my uses since most bed racks use 1.5″ tube instead of 1.75″ which is the more common tube companies produce products for.
